BEACHES
A LARGE SELECTION OF WIDE BEACHES
You will find numerous beaches around your home,
You can even easily reach some of them by bike if you want.
Some are particularly idyllic, some are rather windy... Pick one beach or just try them all!
You can reach the first four beaches in 10-20 minutes:

MATTER BEACH
our favorite beach because it is so wonderfully wide, the parking space for the car is so close and there is always a free spot by the water.

CHALET BEACH
Gruissan beach. If you would like to rent a beach lounger, you can do so at “Pasha Plage”. And at the southern end you will also find the Mamamouchi founders' main restaurant: Le Paparazzo.
20min by car (16km) /// 50min by bike over the Massif de la Clape (14km)
NARBONNE BEACH
In this part of Narbonne, which is located directly on the sea, there are numerous restaurants along the seafront promenade.
The next three beaches are easier to reach by bike than by car
and are perfect for a bike trip:

OLD NEW BEACH
Past the salt mine and you are on a very lonely beach south of Gruissan. Easily accessible by bike from us.

PORT LA NOUVELLE BEACH
Just cycle along the canal - and you'll automatically come to this beach!

a little harder to reach, but guaranteed quiet...

From the entrance: the further south you walk, the quieter it gets on the beach...

THE FRANQUI
This beach is windier and is therefore perfect for water sports. Windsurfing world championships are often held here.

LEUCATE BEACH
The beach in the beautiful town of Leucate also invites you to linger. And the restaurant “Le Poulpe” also provides good food.

PORT LEUCATE BEACH
If we want to treat ourselves to a beach lounger on the beach, we like to do it at Anthony's. He is warm and his beach hut is just the thing for a relaxing day by the sea.
