I COME FROM CLAPE

WINE FROM THE APPELLATION LA CLAPE IS STILL AN ABSOLUTE SECRET TIP FOR MOST PEOPLE

Change that for yourself, because the Languedoc offers a variety of typically French terroirs, small wineries, reliable ripeness and undiscovered treasures... Our immediate surroundings alone currently have eight wineries that are officially among the "important wineries" in the world ( Source: The Great Wine Atlas, Hugh Johnson & Francis Robinson, Hallwag Verlag). You can find them all listed here on this page.

In terms of travel time, you can reach the first five with a total of 60 minutes by car. The other three can also be easily combined with the tour to Fleury or installed after a visit to the beach.

You can also book our “Winery Tour” upgrade: Then we will organize everything for you and even drive you around personally - so you can enjoy the wine on site and get to know the winemakers!

You should plan at least half a day for this trip.

And maybe you'll discover a very special insider tip along the way...

"Le Grand Vin Rouge" from Château l'Hospitalet 2017 was voted the best red wine in the world at the International Wine Challenge 2019! This domain on the Clape massif, owned by former rugby player Gérard Bertrand, is developing an exceptional vintage in an estate with a hotel, restaurant, artisan shops and annual international jazz festival.

MAS DU SOLEILLA

The next great winery is right next door! The small (22 hectares) but extremely fine Mas du Soleilla was taken over by the Swiss Peter Wildbolz in 2002. This has now brought this pearl, beautifully situated on the La Clape limestone massif, to the top of this cru region of the Languedoc and the combination of power, fruit, spice and elegance. let it succeed.
